In 2014 or so, the founders of the New England Belt Sander Racing Association sort of threw in the towel. “It takes a village to put these races together, and the village is tired.” said Dave Kenyon, of Kenyon Woodworking in Jamaica Plain.
Fair enough, but we had a barrel of fun and want to do it again. So here we are. We have the track, we have the energy, in Spring 2024 you’re gonna see us come back!
The new NEBSRA is based in Lynn MA at The Brickyard Collaborative, the North Shore’s makerspace. We’re getting tooled up to have the races in Spring of 2024. Check back for details.
